About EHL Prolist

Founded in 2011, EHL Prolist is a distributor of moldings to the construction industry across Sweden. Operating from their warehouse in Sala, they ship nationwide to retailers, serving the entire supply chain from wholesalers to construction projects

The challenge

EHL Prolist was using an older version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV without an external Warehouse Management System (WMS). As part of their digital transformation journey, they decided to upgrade their ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This upgrade created an opportunity to evaluate whether to use standard BC functionality or implement an external WMS solution to improve their warehouse operations.

Finding the right partners

EHL Prolist engaged TWO as their partner for the Business Central implementation. During the WMS evaluation phase, TWO recommended Ongoing WMS as an external solution and Golden EDI as the integration partner.

The implementation

The entire project, including the whole ERP migration, moved quickly from start to finish from September 2024 to going live on April 1st 2025. Four companies worked together smoothly: EHL Prolist, TWO, Ongoing WMS, and Golden EDI. Golden EDI built custom connections to handle EHL Prolist's specific needs, including special orders, direct deliveries, back-order management, and inventory tracking.

Impact

The implementation delivered much value to EHL Prolist. The biggest change has been in the warehouse operations, where staff have experienced a difference in their daily work. The new system has improved inventory accuracy and overall operational efficiency.

"We've eliminated a big amount of manual work at various touchpoints and are much more efficient today than before. Our inventory balances are now accurate, which gives us more confidence in our operations. The whole process feels more secure now," – explains Linnea Funk.

This newfound confidence has transformed how EHL Prolist operates their warehouse and manages their distribution.

Looking forward

Building on this successful implementation, EHL Prolist is already planning their next integration project with Golden EDI, setting up a purchase order flow through the system.
