An e-invoice solution that enabled handling greater volumes with the same resources
Fastighetssnabben, based in Gävle, is a service company in the property management sector with nationwide operations across Sweden. They provide a range of services from lawn maintenance and waste management to ventilation and heating systems for property owners.
The challenge
Fastighetssnabben was struggling with their outdated ERP system. As they grew, they needed a better solution to handle increasing invoice volumes while keeping their system integrations simple.

The solution
During their transition to Microsoft Business Central 365, InBiz (BC Partner) introduced Fastighetssnabben to Golden EDI for their invoice distribution needs.
"Together with our IT manager and one of the co-owners, we developed proposals for systems to choose from. In my role on the management team, I helped decide on the path forward and served as the project manager for the transition," Johan Forsmark, Financial Manager at Fastighetssnabben explains.
What particularly appealed to Fastighetssnabben was how well Golden EDI integrated with their new ERP system. "We really liked that it a fully integrated module in Business Central. We wanted to avoid having too many integrations since each one can potentially cause problems," says Johan.

The implementation
The implementation of Golden EDI’s Advanced Invoice solution was part of their larger ERP transition. Despite the challenges typical with such a significant change, the team stayed on schedule.
"The period leading up to go-live was demanding. We had to correct data, which required many hours. But we managed to stick to our timeline," Johan explains.
"The first half-year was somewhat challenging. It required behavioral changes within the finance department. We needed to find and fix errors. But the process was smooth overall, and we received excellent support throughout the process, “ says Johan Forsmark.
During the implementation, Johan acted as the designated person for support issues. "I would collect questions from our team and forward them to Golden EDI's support. The response was always quick and effective."

Results and benefits
With Golden EDI in place, Fastighetssnabben quickly saw improvements in their operations.
"It has allowed us to handle greater volumes with the same resources. We've grown as a company, and the system has made it possible for us to manage the increased workload without issues," says Johan.
The solution offers specialized handling of invoice attachments and custom formatting for specific customer requirements, while requiring minimal maintenance.
"It simply does the work. When there's no problem and we don't notice it, that's exactly how it should be," – Johan summarizes.

When asked if he would recommend Golden EDI to others, Johan doesn't hesitate: "I would absolutely recommend them, especially if you're using Business Central 365. I see no reason not to."
